In the area of Argos, Konstantinos Kotsopoulos founds a family-style company with the same name, which was initially active in the processing of green olives, known as Green cracked Nafplio olives.
The company Mycenaean K. KOTSOPOULOS SA, is a 3rd generation GREEK family business, which aims exclusively at the processing of excellent quality table olives and olive oil.
Our story begins back in 1960 in Argos city, where Konstantinos Kotsopoulos founded in 1960 the first plant of standardization of edible olives, 15km southwest of the famous place of Mycenae with 5000 years of olive cultivation history.
Today our facilities are located in the 3km Akova-Argos area, which cover a total area of 7 acres, there we combine the best recipe for success which is none other than 60 years of quality and experience combined with innovation and modern technological equipment in processing olives and olive oil.
That is why the principles of the quality of our products are deeply rooted in our DNA.
We are constantly evolving and with continuous investments in modern packaging and standardization equipment, controlling the transport of our products with our own fleet of trucks and our specialized staff we guarantee immediate and efficient service to our customers.
Our goal is to offer exclusively GREEK olive products of superior quality in selected types of packaging with high quality standards.
These are the reasons that for more than 30 years our customers trust us and we export the best olive products to more than 23 countries around the world such as America, Australia, Russia, Germany, etc.
It was our wonderful olives that originally made Mycenaean – Kotsopoulos famous around the world. Now our name is as rich in tradition and history as our foods are rich in flavor.
Our central facilities are located on a privately owned property at 3km of the Akova area of the Municipality of Argos – Mycenae.
The vertically integrated plant has facilities for fermentation, olive storage, edible olive processing lines and also a fully equipped modern packing and pasteurization line for olives and olive tapenade in retail packages.
In the olive oil department, the company has facilities for the storage of olive oil in modified atmosphere conditions with controlled temperature as well as three state-of-the-art bottling lines for metal tins and glass bottles.
Having a bottling capacity of over 12,000 lt/hour the company can create economies of scale for its customers and a great strategic advantage that makes it a leader in the sector.
The processing and packaging of our products takes place with first priority the strict application of safety practices and hygiene rules for this reason we have established a food safety management system that is in conformance with the principles of HACCP/ISO22000:2018.
All the raw materials used to package our final products come from the best suppliers in the industry and are checked daily by protocols, authorities and strict regulations.
In our facilities we have a laboratory, allowing the full chemical analysis of each batch of olive oil that we purchase, process and bottle.
In addition, our long-term cooperation with experienced producers in our region, who meet strict selection criteria, ensures the maintenance of a high-quality standard in the final olive product.
The Quality Policy is based on the philosophy of customer satisfaction and always aims at the quality of the final product. During the development of our company over the years, we receive quality certifications according to HACCP/ISO 22000:2018 standards and comply with certifications of KOSHER and FDA regulations.
